As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated healthcare locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license as you conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the facility. You will have the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork every day.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Experience in a primarily driving post is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with any issues that arise at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences as per Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and visitors to address security-related inquiries and provide guidance as needed.
  • Remain alert to potential hazards and/or security-related risks, responding appropriately based on site-specific procedures.
