Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Hospital-required vaccinations are required.
Experience working in a hospital morgue is required.
Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the healthcare location in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities within the healthcare environment, maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
Communicate with staff, visitors, and/or patients in a professional manner to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and location personnel to support security-related operations and objectives.
