As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas while remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Vaccinations required for hospital assignments.
Ability to work in a hospital morgue environment.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure and orderly location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Follow emergency response protocols as appropriate to the healthcare setting, assisting with evacuations, medical emergencies, or other urgent situations as needed.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and maintenance issues according to established procedures.
Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and/or local law enforcement as required to address security-related matters.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors while helping to deter disruptive behavior.
