You will greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, issue badges, manage entry logs, and respond to alarms and security-related concerns with calm, professional communication. Using a computer or tablet, you will document activity and collaborate with site teams to help maintain smooth daily operations. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Control access to the property by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in and sign-out logs, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, access control systems, and/or other security-related equipment; document unusual activity and notify appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, incident documentation, and timely communication with site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the interior, exterior, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry, verify doors and gates are secured, and report maintenance or operational concerns.
