As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to situations, document activity, and provide professional customer service and communication for employees, drivers, and visitors. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- CPR certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site employees, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or public resources as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouses, loading dock areas, parking lots, and the perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting findings per post orders.
- Support access control at entry points by monitoring arriving and departing traffic, verifying credentials as directed, and documenting visitor and/or vendor activity.
- Complete daily activity logs and incident reports with clear, accurate details, and communicate updates during shift transitions.
