Join Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location where you will manage access control, greet residents and guests, verify credentials, and issue or track badges. You will conduct routine patrols and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, while documenting activity and communicating clearly with property staff. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 1+ years of security experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • State, County, or City Issued Security License is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, residents, vendors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry points and manage visitor processing by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining access logs, and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
  • Control vehicle access at gates and/or parking areas by confirming authorization, coordinating with property management as needed, and assisting with traffic flow during peak periods.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying property management and/or emergency services and completing incident documentation.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, parking structures, and perimeter routes to help identify unusual activity, unsecured doors, and property concerns, and report findings per post orders.
