As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle and/or foot patrols of assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to resident questions and concerns with professionalism. You will document observations, communicate clearly with your team, and support a welcoming environment. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a residential community.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and resident concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to appropriate parties and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, amenities, parking areas, and the community perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
- Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior, damaged property, and/or policy violations, following post orders and reporting requirements.
- Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, communicate shift updates, and assist with additional duties as assigned to support the location’s operations.
