As an unarmed patrol officer supporting a residential community, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with calm, clear communication. You will document observations, report concerns, and deliver a welcoming customer service experience for residents and guests. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license under Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a residential community.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, common areas, garages, and perimeter locations, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns per post orders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with de-escalation, access issues, and requests for service as directed.
Monitor access points during patrols, help to deter unauthorized entry, and assist with visitor management and/or resident verification in accordance with site procedures.
Document patrol activity, incidents, and service requests in written and/or electronic logs, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
