As a Front Desk Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming visitors and drivers, managing access logs, answering phones, and using computer-based tools to support security-related screening and reporting. You will help monitor cameras and coordinate responses to incidents while delivering customer-focused service. Requirements

  • Have at least 2+ years of security experience.
  • Provide proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Have customer service experience, preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Staff the front desk to help manage access control by greeting and directing visitors, verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor and contractor logs.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, phones, radios, and other communications to help identify unusual activity and route concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting details, notifying leadership and/or emergency services as required, and assisting with scene control at the reception area.
  • Complete written and electronic reports such as incident reports, shift activity logs, and access documentation, and communicate status updates during shift turnover.
