As a Front Desk Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will be a welcoming first point of contact while helping maintain a secure environment through access control, visitor check-in, credential verification, and clear communication with tenants, guests, and property staff. You will monitor activity from the desk, document security-related observations, and support a responsive approach rooted in Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific policies, access control procedures, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Staff the front desk and lobby area, greet and direct visitors, issue visitor badges, and help coordinate visitor check-in and/or check-out using approved logs and systems.
  • Monitor CCTV, fire/life systems, and other security-related equipment from the front desk, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or alarms per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to property management and/or public emergency responders as directed.
  • Complete detailed written reports, incident documentation, and shift pass-downs, and maintain security-related records for deliveries, keys, and building access as required.
