Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support tenants and guests with courteous service, clear communication, and timely reporting. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience working a primarily driving post is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter points, noting and/or reporting unusual conditions that may help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor access points and property activity, verify credentials as required, and assist with directing guests, deliveries, and contractors according to site guidelines.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating notifications to property management and/or public emergency services as needed.
Complete detailed reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations to oncoming personnel and site contacts.
