Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support tenants and guests with courteous service, clear communication, and timely reporting. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience working a primarily driving post is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter points, noting and/or reporting unusual conditions that may help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor access points and property activity, verify credentials as required, and assist with directing guests, deliveries, and contractors according to site guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating notifications to property management and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Complete detailed reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations to oncoming personnel and site contacts.
