As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols and patrol-related reports, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet staff and visitors, respond to concerns, and communicate clearly while supporting a professional environment. Requirements

  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and established reporting protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including offices, common areas, and the perimeter, observing for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter unwanted behavior.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials, direct visitors, and document entries and/or exits in accordance with site requirements.
  • Complete required logs and incident reports, communicate updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership, and support additional security-related tasks as assigned.
