Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
CPR and First Aid are preferred.

Responsibilities

Welcome and screen all individuals entering the location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting students, staff, and visitors as needed.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Monitor entry points and report any suspicious activity or unauthorized access to the appropriate authorities.
Assist with emergency response activities when necessary, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures as directed by site management.
