As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will use a vehicle to cover property routes, respond to calls for service, document observations, and communicate clearly with residents, guests, and onsite staff. Requirements

• Have 1+ years’ law enforcement experience or 2+ years’ security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years’ security experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures and access control guidelines for a residential location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Monitor and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations, and complete detailed incident and daily activity reports as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or site leadership when appropriate.
• Operate security-related systems and equipment as assigned, such as radios, visitor logs, and surveillance monitors, while maintaining a professional presence at all times.
