In this driving post, you will use a company vehicle to check designated areas, document activity, and communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and leadership. Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma and/or GED is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Help to support access control by monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or credentials when required, and directing visitors to appropriate locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to identify unusual conditions, unsecured doors, and/or unauthorized activity.
  • Complete detailed reports of daily activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and on-site contacts as needed.
