As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a cutting-edge technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, document and communicate observations, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring a valid drivers license in line with AU Driver Policy Requirements. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and employees by carrying out post orders, access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production or office areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions such as unsecured doors, suspicious behavior, unauthorized vehicles, and/or policy violations, escalating issues through the proper chain of communication.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation, and support visitor management and badge or credential checks as assigned.
