As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, perform access control checks, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid commercial driver’s license. Bring strong communication and customer service as you support a caring, integrity-led team that stays agile, reliable, and innovative every shift.

Requirements

• A valid commercial driver’s license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, yards, parking areas, trailer rows, and building perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
• Support access control by monitoring inbound and outbound traffic at entrances, checking visitor and contractor credentials, and logging deliveries, pickups, and other site activity per site procedures.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, communicate notable observations to appropriate personnel, and assist with loss prevention awareness by reporting suspicious behavior, damaged property, and/or process concerns.
