As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and deliver customer-focused service with integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy, supporting a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and people first.
Requirements
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and other security-related protocols.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor entry points, verify identification and/or authorization, and maintain visitor and vehicle logs according to site requirements.
- Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
