You will conduct routine patrols, manage access points, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Control access points by verifying identification and/or authorization, managing visitor processing, and directing deliveries according to site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; contact appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation; communicate key updates to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
