As a Screener with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and support loss prevention efforts. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while maintaining access control. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Screen individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering the logistics and distribution location according to established protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report irregularities.
Monitor access points and verify credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
Maintain detailed records of screening activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to provide assistance and relay important information.
Remain alert to potential security-related concerns within the logistics and distribution environment and report observations promptly.
