As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with visitors and staff. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related risks, or hazards encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff as needed during patrols and security-related duties.
Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
Support Allied Universal in maintaining a secure environment by following all post orders and reporting any incidents promptly.
