Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced chemical and petrochemical location where you will perform unarmed patrols and presence-based rounds, monitor assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents through strong visibility and communication. You will greet employees and visitors, observe and report unusual activity, and support site procedures with professionalism and customer service. Requirements

  • Possess a TSA Issued TWIC.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial energy and processing location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions that may impact operations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, processing areas, tank farms, access roads, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions.
  • Monitor and control access points for employees, contractors, and visitors by verifying identification, checking authorization, and documenting entries and exits per site requirements.
  • Complete shift activity reports, incident reports, and required logs, and communicate via radio and/or phone to coordinate with site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
