You will monitor cameras and alarms, respond to service calls, and document security-related activity with clear communication and customer-focused professionalism. Requirements

  • Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential front desk.
  • Monitor access control points, greet and direct visitors, and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying identification and/or authorization in accordance with post orders.
  • Answer phones and radios, relay messages, and maintain clear communication with property management and on-site staff regarding security-related concerns and resident requests.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting details and notifying appropriate contacts as outlined in site procedures.
  • Complete required reports and logs such as visitor entries, incident reports, and daily activity summaries with accurate, timely information.
