As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to tenant and visitor requests, and document observations and incidents with clear communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to building tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, common areas, stairwells, parking areas, and perimeter routes, noting unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and escalating to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Monitor access points and observe for unauthorized entry and/or policy violations, assisting with visitor direction and traffic flow as requested by site management.
• Complete detailed reports of patrol activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.
