As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. You will interact with tenants and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the commercial real estate location to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any irregularities or incidents as per site protocols.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Support emergency preparedness and response activities as directed by site procedures.
Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.
