As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols throughout a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. Requirements

At least six months of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access within the chemical and petrochemical environment.
Report and document any security-related incidents or irregularities according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Communicate with site personnel and visitors in a professional manner to provide assistance and relay information as needed.
Follow all site-specific instructions and procedures to help to maintain order and security-related operations at the location.
