As a Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to provide reassurance, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Monitor the chemical and petrochemical location for unusual conditions or activities, reporting any concerns according to site guidelines.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members while performing assigned duties.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site policy.
