As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a sense of security, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within an educational environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing Allied Universal protocols and training.
Conduct regular and random patrols around campus buildings and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and common areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or disturbances.
Observe and report any security-related issues, hazards, or unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with emergency response activities as required, including guiding individuals to designated areas and supporting first responders as needed.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as directed by Allied Universal guidelines.
