As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas on campus, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with students, staff, and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Able to ride a bike.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols or while on duty.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents or concerns.
Support emergency response protocols by providing guidance and coordination during drills or actual events as directed by Allied Universal or site leadership.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and foster a sense of security for students, staff, and visitors.
