As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in an educational location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming presence. You will interact with students, staff, and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the education location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facilities and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and address potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related hazards found during patrols.
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives regarding incidents or issues as they arise.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, checking credentials as needed, and supporting visitor management procedures.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
