As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor screening. You will conduct routine rounds, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and guests while responding to alarms and issues as they arise. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors and/or drivers by following site-specific policies and carrying out security-related procedures, including access control and credential verification.
- Monitor cameras, alarms and/or other systems, document observations, and report unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision to help to deter loss and unauthorized access.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and assisting with emergency response activities as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production, warehouse, office and/or exterior areas, including perimeter checks and inspection of doors, gates and loading areas. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Complete daily activity reports, incident reports and log entries, and communicate shift updates during turnovers to support consistent security-related operations.
