As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols of production, warehouse, and exterior areas, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and observe for unusual activity. You will greet employees and visitors, support access points as needed, and provide clear communication to report concerns. Requirements

  • Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and facility personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access control points and check identification for employees, visitors, and contractors; maintain visitor logs and follow sign-in and badge procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and communicating with site leadership and/or public emergency services when needed.
  • Complete accurate security-related reports, document unusual activity, and communicate observations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
