As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will also provide strong customer service, clear communication, and teamwork while acting with integrity as part of Allied Universal.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be able to ride a bike.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control, and other security-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial buildings, yards, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance issues to be reported.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and/or other monitoring systems; investigate unusual conditions and report findings according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting actions taken and notifying site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as required.
  • Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications; support shipping and receiving and other operational areas with security-related checks when requested and permitted by site policy.
