You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, and communicate clearly with employees, visitors, and drivers to help reduce security-related incidents. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Control access at gates and entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in and sign-out logs, and directing traffic for deliveries and pickups.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems, report suspicious activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry by maintaining a consistent presence at assigned posts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting evacuations, medical calls, and coordination with site leadership and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
