As an Allied Universal Security Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support staff and guests with clear communication and customer service while documenting observations using computer and/or tablet tools. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at an automotive retail and service location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the showroom, service areas, offices, parking areas, and vehicle inventory lots to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access points and support traffic flow by greeting entrants, verifying authorization when required, and directing visitors to the appropriate areas.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in written reports and/or electronic logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
