You will complete routine rounds, observe and report activity, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, supported by an agile, reliable, innovative team that leads with integrity. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a tech, media, and/or telecom location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving calls for assistance, assessing conditions, and coordinating notifications per post orders.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor access points and property conditions during patrols, reporting unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Complete shift documentation such as patrol activity logs, incident reports, and visitor and/or contractor notes, using required tools and communication methods.
