As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and access control needs, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21+ Years of Age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and/or telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, data hall areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Control access by checking identification, monitoring visitor and vendor entry, and confirming authorization for access to restricted areas in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Monitor alarm systems, access control systems, and camera systems when assigned, and complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications.
