As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide excellent customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, or baton is preferred.
CPR or first aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual conditions, security-related breaches, or hazards found during patrols.
Maintain clear and concise communication with site staff and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and daily activities.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying identification as required.
Document all incidents and activities accurately in daily reports and logs in accordance with client and Allied Universal protocols.
