As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide clear customer service and communication. This is an armed, driving post requiring an Armed Guard Card or License and a valid driver’s license under AU driver policy requirements. Requirements

• An Armed Guard Card/License is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, clients, and/or visitors while carrying out Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and post orders at a financial services location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points, lobby areas, and restricted zones; verify authorization, manage visitor check-in procedures where assigned, and report irregularities per site protocol.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and/or critical incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner; contact law enforcement and/or emergency services as appropriate and document actions taken.
• Maintain readiness of issued equipment and firearm in compliance with training and applicable laws; complete accurate reports, incident logs, and shift activity documentation.
