As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for all visitors. This armed post involves conducting routine patrols, staying highly visible, and delivering outstanding customer service while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Level III armed certification is required for roles in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at the retail location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and guidelines.
Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Document observations, incidents, and/or activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when appropriate.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.
