As a Patrol Armed Officer serving a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving position. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and people-first care. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and/or other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment.
Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and/or law enforcement as needed.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities during assigned shifts.
Follow all company protocols and client-specific instructions related to armed patrol and security-related duties.
