As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and requests for assistance. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and support a professional atmosphere. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter while maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with on-site staff and/or local law enforcement as needed.
• Control access at assigned points by verifying identification, monitoring visitor and contractor entry, and directing individuals according to post orders.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, document observations and incidents, and communicate shift activity to the site supervisor and/or client representatives.
