Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer supporting a utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to situations with professionalism, provide strong customer service, and communicate clearly with team members and site personnel. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site personnel and public responders as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, substations, and perimeter areas, including checking gates, doors, and restricted areas for unusual activity.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization for entry, and document visitor, vehicle, and contractor activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, inspections, and incidents, and communicate key observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
