As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. You will interact with the public, deliver outstanding customer service, and respond to situations as needed. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a valid Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR Certification is preferred.
Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
Baton Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgment to address issues as they arise.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the retail environment to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other prohibited activities.
Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and law enforcement personnel as needed, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Complete detailed incident and daily activity reports as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Remain alert to potential security-related hazards and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
