As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail environment, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind for visitors and staff. This position requires driving and armed responsibilities. You will deliver outstanding customer service while upholding our core values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter, being attentive to any unusual activity.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues within the retail environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a welcoming atmosphere.
Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as directed by site-specific procedures.
Carry and maintain assigned firearms and equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
