You will conduct routine vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, respond to calls for service, and document observations with clear, professional reports. You will also provide strong customer service through calm communication and teamwork, living our values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity while putting people first.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Have 2 or more years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate public service resources as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points, check credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited items in accordance with post orders and applicable regulations.
  • Complete required documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and communicate noteworthy activity to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.
