As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned commercial real estate locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to situations as they arise. This armed position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working as part of a team that values agility, reliability, and integrity.

Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Baton certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed patrol protocols as required by the location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior within the commercial real estate environment.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Collaborate with property management and local law enforcement as needed to address incidents and/or emergency situations.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related threats or emergencies within the location.
