As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. This armed and driving role involves routine patrols, exceptional customer service, and clear communication to those on site. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Level III armed certification is required for roles in Texas only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at retail locations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail property and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor for suspicious behavior or unauthorized individuals and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas within the retail location.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when required during incidents or emergencies.
Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and maintain daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
