As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to situations with clear communication and professional customer service while supporting a caring team that acts with integrity. This role requires an armed guard card/license and offers a dynamic post where agility, reliability, and innovation matter every shift.

Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Have an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff and visitors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter on a regular and random basis to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify identification and/or authorization as required by post orders, and document entries, exits, and deliveries.
  • Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, and coordinate with law enforcement and/or on-site leadership when needed.
  • Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs, and report maintenance hazards, access control issues, and security-related concerns through established channels.
