As an Armed, driving Patrol Officer in a tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls, document activities, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while providing strong customer service. Requirements

• An Armed Guard Card/License is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Law Enforcement Officer License is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech and/or telecom location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor sign-in, and/or delivery documentation in accordance with site requirements, escalating access issues through the designated chain of command.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations, requesting assistance when needed, and supporting local authorities and/or on-site teams as directed.
• Complete accurate reports of security-related activities such as patrol findings, incidents, and service requests, and communicate timely updates to supervision and/or site contacts.
